Organising of Sports Meet and Rallies and TA DA to the Participants :
In this scheme Department organizing Dasara and Rural Sports meet from taluka level, district level, division level and State level and issuing the TA and DA to the participants. And also conducting Youth Rallies from taluka level ,district level, divisional level and State level and issuing the TA and DA to the participants.
Construction of Taluka Level Stadiums and Maintainence :
In this scheme Department construct Taluka Level stadiums in different talukas and maintaining the stadiums. Presently Ankola and Joida taluka stadiums are under construction and Yellapur, Mundagod, Haliyal stadiums are completed. District Stadium is in Sirsi
Sports School :
In this scheme the Sports Hostel is running in Karwar, Athletics and Wrestling are the disciplines in this hostel, 50 sports students are studing in this hostel, for the 5th standard students are joined for this hostel and upto 7th standard they are studying, after that if their performance is good they are selected for senior hostel i.e. in Belgaum, Davanagere, Kudige, Mysore and Vidyanagar.
Rural Sports Centre :
In this scheme the Sports Equipments are given to the selected 36 high schools in the district particularly the schools having physical teachers. The sports equipments are given to develop the rural sports in that area.
Financial Assistance to Sports Persons and Wrestlers Indigent Circumstances :
In this scheme the sports persons aged above 50 years and representing State, National and International sports are getting the pension.
